The UK hotel brand Premier Inn has opened its seventh property in the UAE. The Premier Inn Al Jaddaf was officially inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group.

In a statement, the company said that the “flagship” property – a joint venture between Emirates Group and Whitbread – “signals a new era for Premier Inn Middle East, with greater emphasis on guest experience alongside convenience for mid-market business and leisure travellers.”

During the opening ceremony H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum unveiled a plaque and toured the guest rooms, restaurants and public areas.

The event was also attended by Gary Chapman, president Group Services & dnata, Emirates Group, Adam Nicholls, managing director Premier Inn Middle East. 

The 389-room Premier Inn Al Jaddaf features food and beverage outlets, including all-day dining restaurant Nuevo, traditional British pub Mr. Toad, and a resident Costa Coffee. Leisure facilities include a gym and rooftop swimming pool.

Commenting on the opening, H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said: “Dubai continues to be one of the most visited destinations, attracting millions of business and leisure travellers from every part of the world. Since the opening of its first hotel in 2009, Premier Inn has established a strong presence with its consistent services, and excellent value proposition, contributing to the rich variety of hospitality options in Dubai.Offering the same high quality product and affordable prices, we are sure that this modern, conveniently located and well-equipped hotel will be as popular as the other six facilities in its UAE network.”

Adam Nicholls, managing director of Premier Inn Hotels Middle East, revealed that the latest property is the company’s largest hotel in the region. “Dubai is a city that continues to grow, and our investment into the region doesn’t stop here, with further hotel openings on the horizon,” he said.

Premier Inn has been a part of the UAE’s growing hotel industry for 10 years, having opened its first hotel in Dubai Investments Park in 2009.

According to a statement, the brand offers the most rooms outside the UK, and is committed to expanding its portfolio further in the region within key business hubs.
