Marriott International has claimed that due to a weakened economy, demand for long-term stay apartments has “grown tremendously” within the past few years in Asia.

Sukhumvit Park, Bangkok - Marriott Executive Apartments general manager Richard Wallace said that recent evolutions in the long-term stay category had better accommodated the needs of the guest by expanding food and beverage services, increasing recreational facilities and improving design and amenities within the units.

“Our units offer more space than deluxe rooms at five star hotels, while providing the same convenience and services,” Wallace said.

“Our pre-arrival consultation assists guests with temporary relocation logistics such as transportation and private phone numbers, while our restaurants and other facilities keep everyone happy and entertained throughout their stay, both short-term and long-term.”

The property marks the brand’s third property in Thailand alongside recently opened Sathorn Vista, Bangkok – Marriott Executive Apartments and Mayfair, Bangkok – Marriott Executive Apartments.
