New logo. New logo.

Global hospitality company Hilton Worldwide has unveiled the new name and logo of its flagship brand, adding ‘& Resorts’ to the Hilton Hotels brand name.

The name change is intended to create a clear distinction between the hotel brand and its parent company Hilton Worldwide, while the change of logo — the first since 1998 — continues an enhanced leisure marketing strategy for the brand.

Changes to the new logo include the use of a slightly different custom font, a colour change to a more ‘sophisticated’ dark blue, and the use of a smaller cartouche —the circular wrap around the Hilton ‘H’ — which is designed to place more emphasis on the Hilton name and create a modern look.
