Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has signed a letter of understanding with Souria Holding to manage Jumeirah Abraj Souria, a newly planned five star hotel development located in the Baramkeh area of Central Damascus, Syria.

The property is the first to be signed by Jumeirah in Syria.

It is expected that the development, which aims to redefine the luxury hotel sector in Syria, will take four to five years to complete.
