Armada Hotel has opened at Dubai Investments Park (DIP), the UAE’s largest mixed-use development.
The 252-room property, which is spread over 200,000 square feet, features a spa and health club, as well as a coffee bar and restaurant, while internet access is available in all rooms.
Armada Hotel manager Rosemarie Aquino said: “The Armada Hotel offers a cost-effective boarding option, without compromising on any of the components offered by top-tier hospitality choices. Flanked by multinational business houses and located in strategic proximity to key transit hubs, we are already witnessing a significant influx of guests.”
Dubai Investments Park general manager Omar Mesmar added: ““The Armada Hotel at DIP perfectly complements our lodging brands portfolio. We are confident that the hotel will help us offer additional options and quality accommodation at competitive prices to business travellers looking to put up in DIP.”
The property adds to two current hotels in the 1,700-hectare development – the Courtyard by Marriott and a Premier Inn hotel. There are eight dedicated plots for hotels within the development.
Located near Jebel Ali International Airport, as of January 2012 DIP hosts 1,060 tenants and 1,469 sub-tenants.
