Kerzner International Holdings Limited, the developer and operator of luxury resorts and hotels, has signed a deal to develop and operate a new One&Only resort in Jeddah.

The company which was responsible for building Dubai’s Atlantis Palm Jumeirah has entered an agreement with Saudi developer and owner of luxury hotels, Al Khozama Management Company, in partnership with Saudi Oger to develop the Red Sea resort, which will be the first One&Only in the KSA.

The resort will offer 150 guest rooms, suites and villas, a residential component plus a health spa, dining and retail options and extensive meeting facilities aimed at attracting both leisure and business travellers.

The 95,000sq m resort will be strategically located in Obhur, north of Jeddah commanding 230m of beachfront and the site is less that 30 minutes from King Abdulaziz International Airport.

“I am thrilled we are able to partner with Al Khozama Management Company and Saudi Oger to develop this world-class destination. Jeddah is the perfect location for the first One&Only experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” says Alan Leibman, CEO, Kerzner International.

His Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid, chairman, Al Khozama Management Company also commented on the deal. “Al Khozama is proud to be associated with Saudi Oger and Kerzner International.
