RAYMOND KELLY manager at RS Fitness. Having spent 25 years in the UAE, Kelly’s original company, Raymond Sport, worked in two business sectors — sport court construction contracts and fitness equipment trading.

In 2012 the fitness equipment division of Raymond Sport became a standalone company, RS Fitness — and distributes premium exercise equipment for commercial and home use. RS Fitness is also the exclusive distributor of Precor in the UAE.

MATTHEUS LOTTER health club manager Talise Fitness, Madinat Jumeirah. Lotter oversees the running of Madinat Jumeirah’s Talise Fitness centre. Talise Fitness overlooks the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah at Mina A’ Salam. It boasts numerous facilities including a 25-metre indoor lap pool. Additionally there is a High Altitude Suite — the only one of its kind within the Middle East — and a rock climbing wall. Regular supervised classes include Body Pump, aqua aerobics and RPM.

TRACY MCCURTIN hospitality sector manager & key account manager, Precor EMEA. McCurtin has more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality, fitness and education industries.

She joined Precor in 2005 when she became part of the key account team for Precor UK, thereafter joining the global hospitality team, which led to the execution of the ‘Hilton Fitness By Precor’ brand across EMEA and APAC. Precor is one of the world’s leading fitness equipment manufacturers in operation today.

JOHN YOUNG senior vice president international CYBEX .Graduating with a degree in exercise physiology, Young started his career in Asia where he held a number of senior management positions operating commercial and hospitality based fitness clubs.

He was the co-founder of International Leisure Consultants (ILC) specialising in providing leisure consulting services to clubs across the Asia Pacific region. Young currently resides in Dubai and is responsible for the international sales of Cybex fitness products.

MICHELE MORO managing director Technogym Emirates. Technogym is celebrating its 30th birthday this year.

President and founder, Nerio Alessandri, developed his first fitness equipment in his garage in 1983 at the age of 22.
