The Hotelier Middle East: Executive Housekeeper Forum is back for a second year, bringing together more than 150 housekeeping and laundry professionals on April 30 at Grosvenor House to discuss the challenges and opportunities for innovation and leadership in the industry.

Some of the housekeeping professionals that will speak at the event are Pamini Hemaprabha, executive housekeeper, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, Tatjana Ahmed, housekeeping manager, Grand Hyatt Dubai and Laetitia Lasry, executive housekeeper, The Palace Downtown Dubai.

Hemaprabha, commenting on the topics she would like to see highlighted at the event, said: “I would like to discuss about the challenges of housekeeping, especially the training issues, manpower issues and career growth in this department. Staff empowerment and development issues will be good to debate on. Also promoting housekeeping as a career option can also be a great highlight.”

The event will begin at 8am with registration and morning coffee and panel discussions will begin at 9.05am with a session on meeting the needs of the connected customer and ensuring guest satisfaction for guests who are always online, doing real-time reviews of their visit.
