The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa has opened in Mauritius, marking the debut for the Starwood Hotels & Resorts brand on the island.
Starwood has partnered with Blue Ocean Park Ltd to open the 190-key resort, which is located in the historic Turtle Bay of Balaclava on the North West coast of the island
The resort has five F&B outlets, including three a-la-carte restaurants, as well as 38 suites and the Heavenly Spa by Westin.
“The Westin Turtle Bay extends our long-standing partnership with Blue Ocean Park and is a key addition to our growing collection of Westin resorts in the region,” said Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East president Michael Wale.
“The resort is an ideal leisure destination. Guests will experience a memorable stay whether they are looking to relax on a sandy beach, feel revived in the serene Heavenly Spa, or go scuba diving in the beautiful natural marine park of Turtle Bay.”

Set on over 10 hectares of land, the resort also features nearly 340 square metres of ultra-modern event space, including a ballroom, two meeting rooms and a fully-equipped business centre.
The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa is the third Starwood property to open in Mauritius after the St. Regis Mauritius Resort and Le Méridien Ile Maurice.
