W Doha Hotel & Residences has appointed Andrea Magno as director of its food and beverage outlets.
Magno brings more than 15 years’ experience to his new role, having worked at prestigious properties such as Hotel de Russie in Rome, as well as the Shangri-La Beijing.
Prior to joining W Doha Hotel & Residences, Magno was executive director of food & beverage at Swissotel Sochi Kamelia in Russia.
Commenting on Magno’s appointment, W Doha general manager Safak Guvenc said: “We are delighted that Andrea has joined the B&F team and look forward to him developing new and innovative ideas whilst supporting the talented team in delivering great experiences for our guests. With a diverse background in some of the world’s most notable luxury hotels, we are sure Andrea will bring much value to the hotel and our world-class dining venues”.
F&B outlets at the W Doha include Spice Market and Market inspired by Micheline-starred chef Jean Georges Vongerichten, La Spiga by Paper Moon, Crystal, W Café, and the hotels catering service and in-room dining.
