Dubai’s Media One Hotel has appointed Kate Kupina as housekeeping manager.
In her new role, Kupina will be in charge of planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms and offices.
She will also participate in the hotel’s CSR programmes, and will implement various ideas to help the hotel become more ‘green’.
Prior to joining Media One, Kupina was housekeeping manager at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, as part of the pre-opening team, where she was involved in recruitment, setting standards, as well as sourcing suppliers and staff training.

She has previously worked as housekeeping supervisor at Kempinski Black Sea in Gelendzhik, Russia, as well as executive housekeeper at Sochi Marriott Krasnaya Polyana Hotel.
Commenting on Kupina’s appointment, Media One Hotel director of operations Felix Hartmann said: “Kate was selected for her passion for the hospitality industry and her dedication towards efficiency in housekeeping and we are looking forward to all the new ideas she plans to introduce to Media One Hotel."
