What is the biggest challenge in purchasing today?

The biggest challenge in the current market is to find the right supplier to deliver the best quality product at the best possible price. With a large number of new companies in the market, suppliers are ready to offer lower prices in order to secure the business, which often ends up in compromised quality.

Tell us about one of your most successful deals?

My most successful deal was the renewal of a gas supply and maintenance contract. We have managed to save 75% from the annual service contract and 4% from the gas supply.

What does a supplier have to do to impress you?

Suppliers who are reliable and honest impress me. Not only this, suppliers who keep us up-to-date with new products in the market and any special promotions, as well as those who provide the best prices from the first quote will impress not only me, but every purchasing manager in the industry.
