The third edition of the Hotelier Middle East Procurement Summit has begun at the Grosvenor House Dubai.
With the move by hotels within the Middle East region towards centralising purchasing and development of e-procurement IT strategies, the whole sector is set for dynamic change to bring procedures here in line with international best practice.
Starting off with a panel discussion on the evolution in procurement and the resulting opportunities, the rest of the day will feature case studies and presentations with more than 100 heads of procurement and finance from the UAE in attendance.
In addition to the first topic, the day will debate best practice in topics such as e-procurement, measuring purchasing performance, sustainability in procurement, contract negotiation and more.
