Rixos Hotels has appointed a new cluster marketing director for its two operating properties in the UAE.
Hande Unveren, who joined Rixos Hotels in June 2016, will oversee marketing activities for Rixos the Palm in Dubai, and Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah.
A Turkish national, Unveren has 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and hospitality.
Unveren’s previous posts in hospitality include marketing communications manager for Park Hyatt, Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas and marketing communications manager for Park Hyatt Istanbul, Macka Palas.
She holds a certificate in public relations and marketing from London College of International Business School, as well as a degree from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey.
