Passenger traffic at Dubai International Airport increased 9.4% in November from a year earlier to 6.58 million people, according to Arabian Business, quoting the airport's operator.
Over the first 11 months of 2016, traffic at Dubai airport grew 7.0% to 75.95 million people.
The growth in new flights to and from India, including Spice Jet, Jet Airways and Air India, increasing capacity to the country, were partly responsible for the recent growth.
Dubai airport handled 234,743 tonnes of cargo in November, an increase of 7.5%, while volume in the first 11 months increased 3.3% to 2.36 million tonnes.
