Media One Hotel has welcomed Roxana Marcu as the outlet manager for Qwerty.
The Romanian native started her career in the Middle East in Oman in 2010. She moved to Dubai in 2011 and worked in independent restaurants before joining Media One.
Marcu hopes to build a loyal guest base at Qwerty, in particular, drawing the attention of residents living in the area. “Media One has a friendly vibe, which I felt when I first visited the hotel,” she said.
“The welcoming atmosphere of the hotel makes it easier to connect with the guests, and I am excited about
Qwerty being the go-to destination for after-work drinks in the area.”
Director of operations at Media One Hotel Felix Hartmann said: “We look forward Roxana’s previous experience being an asset to our exciting new dining venue, and we’re happy to have her leading Qwerty’s opening team.”
