Marina Akhmedova, who previously held the role of specialty chef at The Cove Rotana Resort, Ras Al Khaimah has now been promoted to cluster executive chef at Centro Capital Centre and Capital Centre Arjaan.

Akhmedova, a Russian national, holds a diploma in cookery from Culinary Institute Russia and brings with her over 12 years of culinary experience, having worked with renowned international hotel chains in her previous roles.

In her new position as cluster executive chef, she will lead the operations of the hotel’s portfolio, comprising two all-day dining restaurants, Tamarind and c.taste, Aroma lobby lounge and c.mondo barin as well as a takeaway deli concept, c.deli.

Chef Marina’s team will also oversee dining for five meeting rooms at Centro and six at Arjaan, plus external catering requirements..

Within this context, Akhmedova commented “I’m extremely excited to be given this opportunity of working with well renowned brands of Centro and Arjaan” she added “I look forward to further enhancing my creativity in world cuisines and focus my efforts on delivering a guest experience in line with Rotana Brand standards”.
