Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is undergoing a complete redesign of all of its rooms and suites.

The 262-key property has already completed five of its 20 floors, and it remains fully operational with the project due to be completed in early 2018.

The new accommodations have been upgraded with soft furnishings, fabrics, wallpapers, light fixtures, carpets and floor-to-ceiling curtains.

The hotel corridors have been enhanced with marble flooring outside the elevator landings, with new carpeting leading to all guest rooms and suites.  All rooms and suites are decorated in French Empire style with a new colour palette of soft pastels.

Completed enhancements include the expansion of the lobby area with the addition of a second reception desk area to enhance the hotel’s check in and concierge experience.

The Spa and Wellness Centre has concluded enhancements to the steam, sauna and whirlpool area; both the male and female sections have new whirlpools with new power jets and LED lighting.

F&B venue Aura has upgraded its experience both indoors and outdoors. The eight outdoor cabanas now include wood exterior ceilings, comfortable couches with glass retraction roof and doors - and each has a private TV. The pool bar area has a modern look, with a blue marble bar that lights up at night.

"As the first Four Seasons hotel in the Middle East, we are proud to be able to give all our rooms and suites, the largest of their kind in the city of Cairo, a newly revamped luxury look and feel," said the hotel's general manager Mahmoud ElKeiy, in a statement.
