Exterity, a provider of IP video and digital signage technologies, celebrated 10 years of operations in the Middle East on March 5, 2018. The company opened its first international office in Dubai back in 2008.
Originally operating primarily in the oil and gas sector, Exterity expanded into hospitality as well as transport, corporate and finance and healthcare. Today, the company, which signed its first deal in the Middle East in 2006, provides enterprise IP video and digital signage across industries in the region, including airlines, airports, hoteliers, corporate organisations and universities.
Exterity CEO Colin Farquhar said: “Exterity’s growth in the Middle East is reflective of the evolution of the regional market, where new developments across corporate & finance, education, healthcare, hospitality, transport and venues & stadiums have called for high quality IP video systems. Our partners have also been instrumental to our success, and we are proud to have invested in local support to help them grow our presence and build exciting projects together.”
In 2018, the company launched its hospitality-focused division, Accommtec, an integrated guest entertainment and information solutions for hotel and cruise line groups.
Today, Exterity employs a team of sales and technical staff in the region and works with a network of technology, system integrator and consultancy partners across the entire region to distribute and install its end-to-end solutions.
