Al Bustan Centre & Residence recently organised a free comprehensive eye check-up for all its employees in association with Visual and Style Opticals LLC.
The session held as part of the property’s Responsible Awareness Programme was addressed by Optometrists Ivan Tauro and Asutosh Kumar.
The eye screening highlighted early detection of any eye diseases and disorders namely cataracts, retinal detachments and macular degeneration, as well as other systemic health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
The examination for the employees included vision screening, diagnosis of the refractive status, colour vision evaluation, measurement of the visual acuity of each eye and looking inside the eye at the retina and optic nerve.
Tips on maintaining clear and healthy vision were also shared by the eye specialists and employees who were examined with blurry vision were prescribed with eye glasses.
