Central Reservation Service (CRS) provider Trust International has rolled out its latest software, ‘yourVoyager CRS’, to the Middle East hotel sector.

Trust International managing director Richard Wiegmann called the product “unique in the industry”.

He said: “‘yourVoyager CRS’ provides hotels with customised views of how they are doing day-to-day and places the broadest array of CRS concepts and tools at their fingertips exactly as the customer wants them displayed and how the hotel group or individual hotel wants to see it.
“The industry is facing the growth of electronic bookings from travel agents and sites from around the world,” added Wiegmann.

“Trust is supporting its hotel clients in providing the connectivity to the demand side and can easily connect to domestic channels. Trust offers a range of direct connect options to fit every internet distribution system (IDS) or online travel alliance (OTA). This includes ARI (Expedia, Booking.com), Metasearch (Wego, iXiGo), Shopping (Hotel.de, Octopus Travel), Switch (Pegasus, Derbysoft), and Channel Management (Rate Tiger, HBSi) interfaces.”

Also at ATM, Trust will be launching its Trust/Mobile software to enable booking changes through mobile devices.

Wiegmann said now is the time for hotel groups to ensure they have selected the right CRS and distribution services provider.

“With Middle East hotel chains recording the worst drop in revenue per available room (RevPAR) against last year, it is important that independent hotel chains look at their reservation platforms to compete against international brands. Knowing how to increase revenue through distribution channels and understanding bookings is essential for new chains to gain marketshare,” he said.
