The Rixos Jumeirah Beach Dubai will be part of the Al Fattan Group’s Crystal Towers.

Rixos Hotels senior vice president of operations Erkan Yildirim said it decided to open its second hotel in Dubai as it is the most popular tourism destination in the Middle East and increases the market share.

The company will open another hotel on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island in 2018.

It already operates two hotels in the UAE - Rixos The Palm Dubai and Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Ras Al Khaimah.

The company is also expanding in newer markets such as Jeddah, Muscat, Salalah and Maldives.

“Oman is another potential tourism destination and, in my opinion, Rixos Hotels will flourish in a country with such beautiful surroundings and scenic landscapes,” Rixos Hotels senior vice president of operations Erkan Yildirim said.

Established in 2000, Rixos Hotels has 27 hotels in countries such as Turkey, the UAE, Croatia, Switzerland, Egypt and Kazakhstan. It expects to add 32 new projects globally by 2018.
