Uniforms

Fashionizer

Fashionizer managing director Debbie Leon sheds more light on the firm’s experience in producing custom uniforms with an edge

What does your company specialise in?

Fashionizer is a uniform designer for the luxury hotel and resort market, and because each uniform is designed according to the specification of each client, new products are developed every year.

Can you share more about the design ethos?

Fashionizer’s USP is our ability to deliver a unique uniform collection for each and every client. At the core of this is our ability to interpret a hotel or resort and translate it into uniforms that are designed and fit perfectly with the identity of the property. Choice of fabric is key, Fashionizer’s fabric development department works on combining natural fibres with the latest developments in fabric technology. An example of this is the introduction of a new fabric treatment that is perfect for warmer climates such as the Middle East: Silverplus is a natural antibacterial treatment that enables uniforms to stay fresh and odour-free all day, which has been incorporated it into our stock spa uniforms.

Why should the hospitality industry buy from you?

Luxury hotels operate in a competitive marketplace and anything that can assist in defining a particular property’s guest experience is important. Staff uniforms that look great and enhance the look of the hotel staff is of great value.

When was your company established?

Fashionizer was established in 1993 in London, UK. The company went on to launch Fashionizer Spa in 2008. Our first client in the Middle East was the Phoenicia Beirut more than six years ago.
